A Documentary Drama Series
Based on the true maritime disaster that changed Gozo forever.
On 30 October 1948, a traditional Luzzu carrying passengers across the Gozo Channel was caught in a violent storm, resulting in one of Malta's most devastating sea tragedies.
IT-TRAGEDJA follows the human stories behind the disaster through a cinematic blend of documentary and drama, exploring courage, loss, survival and the memories that still echo across the islands.
